Omegle never let you choose who you met, and it has been gone since 2023. We went through nine sites people use instead, and looked at the one thing most of them are vague about: can you actually choose to talk to women, and what does it cost?

The short answer

  • Paid gender filter: Chatrandom, Emerald Chat, Azar and Chatspin all let you choose women, but only on a paid tier.
  • No gender filter: OmeTV says so in its own FAQ. Chatroulette, Monkey and Bazoocam had none that we could find.
  • Women-only by design: on OmegleGirls.tv the browse list shows women only, and you pick who to call. Calls use coins.

Yes, we run one of the sites on this list. We have put it first because it is the one this page is about, and we have written its downsides the same way as everyone else's.

How we checked

For each site we read its own homepage, FAQ or help pages and terms on October 24, 2026, and its app-store listing where the website would not load for us. We only wrote down what those pages say. Where we could not confirm something, the entry says so. We left out sites that have stopped running their own chat, and two sites whose filter pricing we could only see in search snippets rather than on their own pages. Features change, so check the site itself before you pay for anything.

1. OmegleGirls.tv: choosing a woman to call instead of waiting for one

No filter needed: the browse list shows women only.

Guest account on arrival, no form. Video, audio or text.

Browser-based on phone or laptop. Report and Block on every profile.
The catch
Video calls use coins, so it is free to start, not free forever. Who is around depends on the hour. No group rooms or interest tags.

2. Chatrandom: random chat with optional filters

Girls-only option
Gender filter (women, guys or couples) is part of the paid Plus tier, along with location filters.
How you meet people
Random matching.
Getting started
You can chat as a guest; premium filters need an account. Text-only chat is possible without a camera.
Also worth knowing
Website and an Android app. 18+ under its terms.
The catch
Choosing women requires Chatrandom Plus.

3. Emerald Chat: interest-based matching

Girls-only option
Gender filter is listed as Premium; subscription tiers add gender, country and language filters.

Its Google Play listing puts “chat with only girls or guys” under the paid Chatspin Plus.

6. OmeTV: free, unlimited random video

Girls-only option
None. Its own FAQ says it does not offer gender-specific filters, and that setting “female” does not mean you meet more girls.

Website plus iOS and Android apps. Signing in adds profiles and friends.
Also worth knowing
Free with no limits, according to its FAQ. Adults only under its rules.
The catch
You cannot choose women at all. Its FAQ says so.

7. Chatroulette: mutual opt-in before a call starts

Girls-only option
No gender filter that we could find on its site or app listing. Paid filters exist (a “Top Users” filter, using Quids).
How you meet people
You are shown photos of potential partners, and the chat starts if you both agree.
Getting started
No sign-up required. Website plus iOS and Android apps.
Also worth knowing
Country filter. Run by CR Services AG. 18+.
The catch
The mutual opt-in is nice, but nothing narrows the people you are shown down to women.

8. Monkey: fast social-login random chat

Girls-only option
No gender filter that we could confirm.
How you meet people
One-tap random matching.
Getting started
Account needed via social login. Random video and text chat.
Also worth knowing
Android app; iOS and desktop use the web version. Under-18s are prohibited.
The catch
We found no way to talk only to women.

9. Bazoocam: old-school random chat with games

Girls-only option
No gender filter that we found.
How you meet people
Random stranger, with an optional “people close to me” preference.
Getting started
Optional account for keeping a friends list.
Also worth knowing
In-chat games such as tic-tac-toe. Reserved for people over 18.
The catch
You cannot choose to talk only to women.

What to look for before you pay for a filter

  1. Read what the filter actually does. Some sites say outright that choosing “female” changes nothing. Others only prefer women, rather than guarantee them.
  2. Check what you pay for. A subscription, gems or coins: find out whether the filter is per match, per day or per month.
  3. Look for an age rule and a report button. Every site here says 18+. The easier the report button is to find, the better.
  4. Try it free first. Most of these let you look around before you pay.

What is the best Omegle alternative for talking to girls?

It depends on what you want to pay for. Several random chat sites offer a girls-only filter, but on Chatrandom, Emerald Chat, Azar and Chatspin it is a paid extra, and OmeTV and Chatroulette have no gender filter we could find. On OmegleGirls.tv the browse list shows women only, so choosing a woman to call needs no filter at all; the video calls themselves use coins.

Is there a free Omegle with only girls?

None of the sites we checked offers a free gender filter. On OmegleGirls.tv browsing the women-only list is free and calls use coins; on OmeTV video is free but there is no way to choose women.

Did Omegle have a girls-only option?

No. Omegle matched people at random until it shut down in November 2023. That is a big part of why people still search for "Omegle girls".
